Authenticity
The hometown of Rioja in Style’s founder, Maria, is beside the Oja River, Rio Oja in Spanish, from which the region and wine take their names. As is tradition, when Maria was born her father bought Rioja wine with her birth year vintage and stored it for her wedding day. As we say here, she is “Riojana de pura cepa” – 100% descended from pure Rioja vine!
Passion
It was her love of her homeland and her love of travel that inspired Maria to create Rioja in Style, and her passion for both is poured into every aspect of a Rioja in Style trip. Maria can’t wait to share her beautiful region and wine with you!
